Alaska Trip Day 8

We left Watson Lake at 9:25 AM this morning and arrived in Whitehorse at 2:30 PM. We had rain about ½ of today’s trip. Our sign was nailed to a post in Watson Lake in the sign forest. Displaying your sign started in 1942 and there is now over 66,000 signs) We went across Nisutlin Bay Bridge, the longest water span bridge on the Alaska Hwy. Didn’t see any animals today. We crossed the Continental Divide and took a walk on a boardwalk in a forest to see a waterfall. There are a lot of forest fires happening around this area. We saw and smelled a few along the way. There are characters everywhere that you would not see at home. Some would come straight from the hippie & Klondike era.
